The Flexovit MAXX3 is a 7.0mm depressed centre grinding wheel built for grinding mild steel and stainless steel on angle grinders. It uses a ceramic abrasive grain and bond system engineered to cut into metal with less resistance than standard wheels, which translates to lower vibration through the grinder, less hand fatigue over long jobs, and a wheel that keeps removing material at a consistent rate rather than slowing down or grabbing as it wears. Because it holds its cutting edge longer, fewer wheels are typically needed to get through the same amount of grinding work.

Suited to weld removal, bevelling, surface grinding, and heavy deburring on steel, stainless steel, tool steel, and cast iron — commonly used across metal fabrication, welding, MRO, energy, and oil & gas work.
