Soudaseal FR – Fire-Resistant Hybrid Sealant & Adhesive

Soudaseal FR is a high-performance, fire-resistant and smoke-tight, one-component joint and adhesive sealant based on SMX Polymer technology. It cures to form a permanently elastic product with excellent adhesion to most common building materials.

Features

Applications

• Sealing of connection joints in fire-resistant walls and partitions

• Perimeter sealing of fire-resistant doors and windows

• Sealing of joints in fire-rated expansion joints

• Adhesive applications where fire resistance is required

Substrates
Adheres well to most common building materials such as concrete, brick, metal, wood, glass, and plastics. A compatibility test is recommended on sensitive surfaces.

Packaging
Available in standard cartridges or sausages.

Limitations
Not suitable for continuous water immersion or expansion joints with movement greater than ±25%. Always consult the TDS for specific substrate preparation and application guidelines.
